California being my home, I thought I had explored most of it. But, Oceanside was the hidden gem. The number of breweries on “hop highway,” the accessible street walking to all the bars and restaurants… it made for a great location for our poker tournament stop.

We headed up Grey Eagle Casino in Calgary for our WPTDeepStacks stop. Seeing as how we were at the “doorstep of the Rockies” we had to take full advantage and explore the Banff National Park.
DeepStacks Poker Tour hit Mohegan Sun for the televised championship event. This was my first time at the Mohegan Sun Casino, and although there were a lot of highs and lows it was an awesome adventure as always!
